The man I fell for

I’ve fallen the moment he noticed
A slight old needlework under my chin
During our first hike together

I fell again
When he took me to see his grandma
Without even knowing it would be my first
Yet also last encounter with her

I fell hard when he said
He wanted to come along to my hometown
Spending a few days with my family
On the second year of my mom’s death

Despite annoying acts and his childish behavior
I fell for that tender gaze
Every time those big eyes stare through mine
